Week 13

In this week our Teacher has given some instructions to us and we've talked about the spring term like what have we done in general during the term etcetera. We acknowledge and praised for her efforts in last week afterwards. Lesson has finished and we've started to prepare for the year finals for the following 2 weeks.

Week 11

People in the class have started to present their choice of mobile applications. We've all learnt few useful ones and their presentations were really well-prepared.

Week 10

Our Teacher has introduced to us mobile applications which we can facilitate English Language both learning and teaching. There were well-known of them such as: Cambly, Busuu etc. Our Teacher wanted us to choose 3 of them that may help to our English Language learning and wanted us to present one of them.

Week 9

This week, we've created some activities which are related with language learning on www.educaplay.com . This link will put you to my profile to see the activities which I have created.

Week 8

In this week, we had our mid-term exam which we were requested to create various of questions based on a topic which we supposed to choose on our own. I've choosen a "manga" done by Tite Kubo as my mid-term project and asked few questions related with that topic. We've also started an application called "hot-potatoes" . Created questions, sent our documents to University's online system called "ubis".

Week 7

I've done my part about using youtube as a social media tool for using them as Teaching material. I've briefly summarized that, on www.youtube.com you can create your own channel for elt materials and earn your life, make it private for some groups etcetera.

Week 6

Our Teacher introduced to us "Podcasting" and "Vidcasting" activities and showed us how can we use these activities to facilitate better English learning. After that, Teacher told her knowledge about "social media" tools to use it and given an order to us to do the same for the following week.

Week 5

We have developed a wiki page on www.fandom.com about a classroom. Teacher has divided us into pairs and gave us few tips and asked us to make research about topics. Finally, we presented our findings and created our "classroom wiki"

Week 4

In this week, we talked about what's blog? What's vlog and how can a student create a blog? Teacher also mentioned about vlogging activities. She also introduces us the "Wiki".

Week 3

In this week, we got the feedback from our Teacher about webquizes which we have created during the course. After that, we have discussed over Blogging and Vlogging.

Week 2 Webquest

I couldn't attend to the lesson but I've heard that we supposed to do "webquest" for adding something new to our knowledge "database" . I've created a webquest on "www.zunal.com" My webquest was about planets and universe which I've given the information about those planets and their positioning in the universe. I've given tasks, progress check for students, evalution and giving my best regards to students that they've completed this tasks as If I was the teacher :)

Week 1 - Hello & Welcome

Hello to all, I'm Kuzey Barış MUTLU and I'm a student at Istanbul Aydin University in English Language Teaching department. I have two purposes to create this blog, firstly, to share my knowledge with you and secondly, its a task which has given by our Teacher of Instructional Technologies and Material Design.
